Demanding three-point demands, transport workers staged demonstration at different terminals in Dhaka on Sunday.
The workers began to gather at Sayedabad, Fulbari, Gabtoli, Mohakhali bus terminals from 10am. They took part in procession under the banner bearing their demands.
Some 249 Paribahan Sramik Unions under Bangladesh Road Transport Workers Federation have been observing the programme.
The demands include to allow water and goods-laden transports to carry passengers of half seat maintaining the health guidelines properly, to fix financial fund for the workers, to give food assistance.
