Strongly denouncing the Israeli attacks on the Palestinians, Information and Broadcasting Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud on Sunday questioned whether Israel was above all international laws.
Hasan, also Awami League joint general secretary, in a tweet said, “Israeli brutality on the Palestine people during Ramadan, even on the Eid day and after has crossed all the barbarism of the past. Still silence of the world leaders (of big countries) is really painful. Is Israel above all international laws?”
More than 180, including at least 52 children, have been killed in the Gaza Strip in the past week. More than 1,000 others have been wounded. In the occupied West Bank, Israeli forces have killed at least 13 Palestinians.
