Health Minister Zahid Maleque has said that strict lockdown would be imposed on the districts where the Covid-19 infection rate was increasing.
“Like Chapainawabganj, other bordering district where the positivity rate is raising will be kept isolated. Lockdown can be imposed if necessary,” he said.

Under the programme, Chinese-produced Coronavirus vaccine will be given to students of four medical colleges in Dhaka.
China recently gifted Bangladesh 500,000 doses of Sinopharm vaccine.
Ananya Salam Samata, a student of Dhaka Medical College, was the first vaccine recipient.
