Health Minister Zahid Maleque has said the students of universities and medicals across the country will be brought first under Chinese vaccination after reaching here.
“In every consignment there will be 50 lakh COVID-19 vaccines doses. A total of 1.5 crore vaccines are expected to reach the country soon,” the Minister told this to reporters after Cabinet meeting on Monday.
Zahid Maleque said, “There are a few lakhs of students at the universities in our country. It is not hard work to vaccinate them as the COVID vaccines will be provided serially. Registered people will be given priorities. The students at all government and private universities will be inoculated.”
Responding to a question about lockdown of seven border districts, Minister Zahid Maleque said, “Mangoes, Lychees are the seasonal fruits of these district. Those are the cash crops of these regions. Considering all, there will be imposed no lockdown yet. So that, the farmers can sell their fruits.”
