More than fifty per cent of corona patients undergoing treatment in different hospitals across the country are from villages, said director general of Directorate General of Health Service Professor ABM Khurshid Alam.
Most of patients are coming from villages and admitted to the hospitals with severe virus complexities.
The DG said this to media on Monday after attending a virtual meeting at the department.
Many people infected with cough, cold and fever, considering it as normal flu. They are not testing COVID test.
