The Health Ministry has decided to build field hospital at five places of the capital to treat corona patients amid the outbreak in the country.
Lokman Hossain Miah, secretary to the health service department of the Ministry, said this on Friday while visiting Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University Hospital (BSMMU) in the city.
“We are mentally prepared to make the field hospital within a very short time at five places including the convention centre of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University,” he said.
Mentionable that the Directorate General of Health Services on July 7 informed about making the field hospital if the country needed.
“The number of beds are being increased at corona dedicated hospitals and the manpower are also being redistributed, said its spokeperson Dr Nazmul Islam the same day.
