The government has instructed all officials and employees of the government offices to do their works virtually amid the ongoing restrictions.
The Cabinet division issued a notice in this regard on Sunday.
The notice has been sent to all secretaries/senior secretaries of the Ministries. It request all offices take necessary measures to ensure that official work is conducted virtually (through e-documents, e-tendering, email, SMS, WhatsApp and other means).
All government, semi-government, autonomous and private offices have been kept closed in the ongoing strict lockdown imposed to contain the transmission of novel coronavirus.
The strict lockdown imposed by the government will end on July 14.
