Health Minister Zahid Maleque has said 54 more COVID-19 vaccine doses will reach the country within August 15.
“Some 30 lakh via COVAX facility and 10 lakh from China are expected to be available by August 15. Besides, China will gift 10 more vaccine doses to Bangladesh,” the Minister said.
He disclosed this to media on Monday after joining a virtual Cabinet Division meeting.
Zahid Maleque said more than 30 lakh people have received the COVID-19 vaccine under mass inoculation started from August 7.
