38 Covid-19 deaths, 2,325 fresh cases

Bangladesh on Friday reported the lowest number of Covid-19 deaths since June 9 as 38 more deaths were recorded in the last 24 hours.

With this new figure, the death toll rose to 26,832.

Since June, 2021 when 36 deaths were reported in the country, the daily death toll had been on the rise with a record number of fatalities being reported almost every day.

On August 10, Bangladesh reported its highest number of fatalities when 264people died from the virus.

During this timeline, 2,325 fresh cases were reported, taking the total virus cases to 15,27,215.
