Five passengers were killed and at least 10 others were injured when a passenger bus rammed into a parked truck in Chel Ghat area of Mymensingh’s Trishal on Saturday.
Details of the deceased could not be known immediately.
Trishal Police Station OC Main Uddin said a Dhaka-bound hit the truck in the area at about 3.00pm, leaving five dead on the spot.
The injured have been shifted to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital for treatment.
