The health condition of Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader has improved and he may have to stay in the hospital for two-three more days under close observation.
Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University’s vice-chancellor Dr Sharfuddin informed the development to media on Thursday.
He is the head of the 10-member medical board formed for the treatment of Obaidul Quader.
“Obaidul Quader is now out of danger. He is much better off than yesterday (Tuesday). His blood pressure and oxygen saturation levels are normal, but he may need to stay in the hospital for two-three more days under close observation. He need not to go abroad for treatment”, BSMMU VC said.
The minister sought doa to countrymen for his speedy recovery.
Quader was admitted to the BSMMU on Tuesday after he complained of chest pain.
