Three motorcyclist youth were crushed under the wheels of a truck in Birganj upazila of the district this afternoon.
The deceased were identified as Shahadat, 16, hailed from Birganj municipality area, Shuvo, 15, and Mujahid, 17.
Officer-in-Charge of Birganj Thana Abdul Motin said the accident occurred at around 1:30 pm near Josna Feeling Station in Chakai area on the Dinajpur-Panchgarh highway.
Shahadat and Mujahid died on the spot while Shuvo succumbed to his injuries at Birganj Upazila Health Complex. They were heading to Rahim Box Dimukhi High School riding the motorcycle.
Bodies were sent to M Abdur Rahim Medical College Hospital, he added.
