The Search Committee has started its first meeting with 14 eminent persons, out of 20, to get opinion about the formation of new Election Commission (EC).
The meeting began at Supreme Court Judges’ Lounge around 11:25 am on Saturday.
Another such meeting with the rest 20 persons will be held on Sunday.
Advocate Yusuf Humayun, AF Hasan Ariff, Fida M Kamal, Mansurul Huq Chowdhury, MK Rahman, Shahdin Malik, Ali Imam Mazumder, Barrister Rokonuddin Mahmud, Prof Borhan Uddin Khan, Prof Asif Nazrul, Prof Maksud Kamal , former DUCSU VP Mahfuza Khanam, Sharmin Khurshid and Munira Khan attended the meeting.
Earlier, 20 eminent persons have been invited.
