Three private car passengers were killed as a truck rammed into the vehicle in Narayanganj’s Rupganj early hours of Monday.
Another one named Abdus Sobhan was also injured in the road accident that occurred in front of Bhulta Munshi Pamp of Asian Highway Bypass Road. He was admitted to a local hospital.
One of the deceased was identified as the car driver Alamgir Hossain, 40.
A truck smashed the private car in the area at about 1am, leaving three dead on the spot and one wounded, said Kanchan Fire Service and Civil Defence duty man Yusuf Ali.
Rupganj Police Station Si Kamrul Islam said the bodies were sent to General Hospital morgue for autopsy.
