Three people were killed in a three-way collision among motorcycle, battery-run auto-van and truck on the Pabna-Ishwardi regional road in Awtapara area under Ishwardi upazila of the district this morning.
The deceased were identified as Munsur Ali Khan, 35, son of Bahadur Khan, resident of Bansherbada village in Ishwardi upazila, Saiful Shah, 55, son of Sobahan Shah, resident of Awtapara village in Ishwardi upazila and Asif Hossain, 30, son of Abdul Mannan, resident of Chhatiani Madhyapara area in Pabna city.
The accident occurred as the motorcycle and the battery-run auto-van lost control and collided with the Pabna-bound truck at around 7am this morning on Pabna-Ishwardi regional road, leaving two dead on the spot including auto-van driver and another injured, Md Asaduzzaman, officer-in-charge (OC) of Ishwardi Police Station, said.
The injured was taken to Ishwardi Upazila Health Complex, where duty- doctors declared him dead.
