A total of 1, 61,807 students have achieved GPA-5 (grade point average) in Secondary Certificate (HSC) and its equivalent examinations-2020.
According to the results published here today, 83,338 female students achieved maximum grade point GPA-5 in the examinations while 78,469 male students secured GPA-5.
Dhaka Board secured top position among all the 11 boards in terms of getting maximum grade points with 57,926 GPA-5 out of 3,26,041. Of them, 29,281 are male students and 28, 645 are female.
Rajshahi Board secured the second position with 26,568 GPA-5, while Dinajpur Board was ranked in third position with 14,871 GPA-5.
The number of GPA-5 holders in Jashore Board is 12,892 while 10,040 students secured GPA-5 in Mymensingh Board, 9,364 students in Cumilla Board, 5,568 students in Barishal Board and 4,242 students in Sylhet Board.
Apart from nine general education boards, Madrasah Board secured 4,048 GPA-5 while some 4145 students got GPA-5 in Technical Education Board.
As many as 215 students under eight overseas examination centres passed the exam. Among them, 62 secured GPA-5.
