Bangladesh Railway has decided to continue Dhaka’s train services with rest of the country maintaining coronavirus health guidelines.
The decision was taken at an emergency meeting on Tuesday.
But Kaliakoir Demo and Turag Express will not be allowed to stop any stoppage of Gazipur district following the deadly coronavirus surge, said Kamalapur Rail Station manager Masud Sarwar.
He said as per the government order, the train will operate with 50 per cent passengers. The passengers in that case must follow the hygienic guidelines.
The tickets will be sold at half of the seat but advance tickets will be available.
