Natore road crash leaves 6 dead

Six people were killed when a pick up van carrying them turned turtle on the road in Gurudaspur upazila of Natore district on Sunday afternoon.

The identities of the deceased could not e known immediately.

Confirming the death news, Upazila Nirbahi Officer Tomal Hossain said five others were also injured in the road mishap that happened near a Bus Stand far away from Kachhikata Tolplaza area.

The driver of a Dhaka-bound pickup van lost control over the steering at about 1:45pm, leaving five dead on the scene and six injured, said Bonpara Highway Police Station OC Mozaffar Hossain.

Of the injured six, a child succumbed to his wounds on way to Upazila Health Complex.
