Two people were killed in a head-on collision between a bike and a pickup van at Manda upazila in Naogaon district on Thursday morning.
The deceased were identified as pickup van driver Shamim Ahmed, 24, and biker Sanarul Islam, 28.
Manda Police Station officer in-charge (OC) Shahinur Rahman said the accident took place on the Naogaon-Rajshahi highway in Sreerampur area, leaving the duo dead on the spot.
