Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested e-commerce site Adyan Mart’s CEO and three others of the same organisation early Friday in a case filed for embezzling customers’ money.
Jhenidah RAB-6’s company commander Maj Md Shariful Ahsan said the four were arrested during separate drives in Chuadanga and Khulna districts at early hours.
The arrested four are: Jubayer Siddique alias Manik, chief executive officer of the e-commence site; his father Abu Bakr Siddique, elder brother Mahmud Siddique, managing director; and Minarul Islam, manager of the organisation.
On Friday, the elite force carried out a drive at Adyan Mart on an information that it embezzled money from the customers alluring to deliver products in low price.
