A man and his son were killed when a BRTC bus smashed their motorcycle at Godagari upazila in Rajshahi district on Thursday morning.
The deceased were Saju Miah, 35, and his son Md Abdullah Al Alif. They hailed from Dinajpur. Saju used to live Bijaynagar area in the upazila with his family as he worked at a NGO there.
Quoting witnesses, Godagari Police Station OC Kamrul Islam said Saju Miah and Alif met the tragic end of their lives while going to school around 9:30am.
A case in this regard will be filed soon and after that, legal step will be taken, the OC added.
