Three expatriate Bangladeshi students were killed in a road crash in Qatar on Saturday night.
Deceased Ahmed Safwan, 21, was the son of Iqbal Ahmed of Sylhet, while Isran Bin Islam, 22, son of Nurul Islam of Chattogram, and Azharul Huque Joy, 21, son of Fazlul Huque of Feni. They were living in Qatar with their families.
It is learnt that the tyre of a car, carrying the students, was punctured on Al Shamal road. Suddenly, another car ran over them when the trio were repairing their vehicle, leaving one of them dead on the spot and two others injured.
The injured were taken to a nearby hospital where they succumbed to their injuries.
